Position:
Reports to: Vice President, Manager Insurance Division.
Location: Chevy Chase, Maryland
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 plus Performance Bonus.
Travel Required: Yes (no overnight travel required)

This "position" is located in beautiful Chevy Chase, Maryland. Much of Chevy Chase’s attraction as a place to live comes from its park-like setting—tree-lined streets, rolling topography, and pleasing open spaces—and the character and variety of its dwellings. While it enjoys relative freedom from the noise and traffic of the nearby Bethesda central business district, many residents can walk to shops and restaurants and the Metro subway station in just a few minutes. Chevy Chase is minutes away from all that Washington, D.C. has to offer…sports, theatre, arts and entertainment. Chevy Chase provides a first-rate public school system.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
Business Development
Current Clients
  • Maintain current clients with a retention rate of 95% or higher
  • Increase business with current client (cross sell)
  • Update clients on Products and Service (consultation)
New Clients
  • Prospecting/networking in Bank Footprint.
  • Written development plan.
  • Develop relationships within the Bank for referral flow.
  • Develop $100,000 of New Agency Revenue annually (Captives Fees, P&C, Group & Life Commissions).
Service
  • Responsible for Producing P&C commissions
  • Increase knowledge of clients
  • Regular follow up with Client & Agency Personnel
Professionalism
  • Developing and maintaining rapport with key industry and community people
  • Treating everyone with courtesy, respect and appreciation
  • Accepting responsibility for errors
  • Hard work-on time- delivers promises
  • Developing cooperative relationships-internal & external
  • Increase technical knowledge-continuing education and industry certifications
 
Qualifications:
  • Four year degree or 10 years of successful Sales experience in the Property & Casualty Industry
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
  • General computer experience, including. Microsoft Office
  • Ability to multitask
